High strength and impact resistance: Solid polycarbonate sheets have extremely high strength and excellent impact resistance, being 250 to 300 times that of ordinary glass, 20 to 30 times that of organic glass, and 25 times that of tempered glass. They are known as "unbreakable glass" and can effectively resist external impacts, ensuring safety.
Good light transmittance: The light transmittance can reach 80%-92%, comparable to that of glass. Moreover, it will not cause yellowing, fogging or poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight, and can maintain a good light transmission effect for a long time.
Uv protection: The surface usually has a co-extruded layer that blocks UV rays from passing through, preventing resin fatigue and yellowing caused by ultraviolet rays from the sun. It is suitable for protecting valuable artworks and exhibits from UV damage.

Under the same thickness conditions, the sound insulation of solid polycarbonate sheets is 3-4 dB higher than that of glass, making it an ideal material for sound barriers on highways.
Energy efficiency: It has a lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics. Its heat insulation effect is 49% higher than that of the same type of glass. It keeps cool in summer and warm in winter, significantly reducing heat loss. It is an environmentally friendly and energy-saving material.
Strong temperature adaptability: It does not become brittle at -100 ℃, does not soften at 135℃, and can maintain the stability of all physical indicators within the temperature range of -40 ℃ to 120℃, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
Excellent weather resistance: After 4,000 hours of artificial climate aging test, the yellowing degree is 2, and the reduction in light transmittance is only 0.6%. It can be used outdoors for a long time without aging, discoloration or deformation.
